PSA-Gambling Is Not Dead

As some of you may know, i occasionally like to make a wager or 30. Seems like all the degenerate sports gamblers out there are just staring to realize the ponies still be running!

If ya can handicap, might be a good time to get a Twinspires account and start investing in some races. Going to be a lot of rookies, a lot of starved for action players just playing numbers etc. Still hard as all get out to win, but at least you may get some better odds on the winners you do pick. Maybe 3-1 instead of 7-5 type thing.

As a PSA, do NOT play any online casino games, even live dealer blackjack...just pay for some online nudey shows or something instead of throwing money away

I would hope so.  It’s probably the only sport not cancelled!  ?

German soccer is on all day on the Canadian ESPN equivalent

Oh wait, it’s just repeats but who the heck is gonna know that?

Oddly Italian radio broadcasts are extremely low-key for soccer, maybe it’s after the top man was fired for excitement and letting go with a vile racial comment in an early 1970s World Cup?

Portuguese radio appears to be 2 men and one talks 10 miles a second excitedly while the other draws in maximum breath, then they switch, maybe a third man is there.

Brits were the best, Brian Moore was my fave,

“another German writhing on the field, a people as soft as custard” and “Toto Schilacci (sp??) a man of unquestionable football talent and questionable intelligence”

USA 80 was the biggest upset/best game played in my life but this Bemont may be the most incredible.  Insert a horse halfway in between Secretariat and the others and that horse would have run the 2nd best mile and a half ever.  Crazy.

I never been much of a pony player.  When we were in College my one friend knew one of the owners that would race at BD and he would tip him off once in awhile & they came in 90% of the time.  Paid our spring break trip to Cancun one year with the money we made on horse racing.

I told my wife last night, "I never realized how sports and gambling have a hold on my life until it has been taken away."  She said, "well maybe this will make you take a hard look at your life & get you to stop."  I told her, "it is going to have the exact opposite effect, once business opens up again I am going to go hog wild, I will be like a kid in the candy store."

Life without gambling is boring as hell.

well, i have..and continue to lose money every freaking day of this quarantine!!!!

Yeah I hear ya.  I usually bleed money in March with the conference tournaments, then NCAA Tournament, the annual tournament party I throw(which would of been tomorrow?) all the pools I get in, this is usually the peak of my gambling season.  I have more money than I know what to do with, kind of question why I gamble in the first place.  Ah yes, the excitement, I am so bored.

Here’s a hint......a horse named Shady does NOT require a wager.

I can’t imagine a more surreal setting than a vacant Las Vegas. That’s even more bizarre than a vacant Manhattan in some ways. It’s...........Walley World all shut down!

NBCSN was supposed to have the Louisiana Derby on today but didn't, not sure what happened there as I never looked at my Twin Spires account. I saw on Bovada the other day you could bet on over under on temperatures in select cities over under! Seems like there could be some money made there.
