I'd sign Cooper but for no more than 16 million a year, then draft a WR in 3rd unless someone really good drops to the 2nd, and go EDGE in the first. I don't think Beane will think that Cooper would be enough of a difference maker with Josh Allen at QB to justify the price he will command. billsfan89 Posted March 3, 2020 Share Posted March 3, 2020 I wouldn't hate it as Cooper is a very good WR and certainly capable of filling the WR1 role for the next 3-4 years. But I don't think he is the game breaking dynamic WR that his contract would command him to be. He disappears for a lot of games and can have a case of the drops. I think he commands a 20 million aav or close contract and while I think he fills the primary need of the team I think he isn't likely to live up to that contract.
