I’ve become a closet super fan of Matt Milano and little -if any seems to be said about him outside of Buffalo. Case in point, not a sniff of PB consideration last season where he may well have been our best performer.  These 2 guys did their homework before the interviews and McBeane were up to their challenge. Great stuff, good finds. Thanks!

Excellent interviews!  Its great to see reporters ask some good, in-depth questions rather than jumping into the normal line of questioning that just gets standard talking points.   I went and bookmarked Rotoworld in my browser!

Good listen, as said above, it is nice to see that the interviewer actually did some background work, and knew about the team, it’s nice to not get the canned questions with every interview. Thanks for posting them.

Go Bills!!!

I agree on Milano.  I want to see him coming off a healthy off-season.

Following up on Sean’s assessment of Milano -played QB and DB, Vosean Joseph, imo, is in this category. Extremely athletic, very quick and a nose for the ball. Last years set of LBs clearly shows what we should expect for the duration of McDermott in Buffalo regarding LBs. Edmunds & Milano are cut from the same cloth and LoAl provided a multi-dimention,  jack of all trades specialist. Replacing him with one guy seems unlikely, so how they go about that role without giving away their defensive intentions will be fascinating to watch.

Me too.  Think he’s gonna get 11 mill a year?

Milano was a great pick. I do worry that the size might make him struggle with staying healthy.  But it’s a great pick.

as far as him not getting league recognition, I think that’s more of his position.  How many fringe pro bowl OLBs do you know in the league?  I love the nfl but there are some guys in that category I wouldn’t hear of.

Man, that would be a tough decision.  I love him but if I’m being honest, I don’t love the idea of paying him that much.  That’s a position that can be filled fairly easily if you have a good d line.

Can't break the bank on Milano. He is a nice player in McD's system.  Great production from where he was drafted, but he is not a top 30 linebacker in this league.  Let him play out his contract and move on.  There will be bigger names that will need extensions.  If there is any doubt just remember this play.

The guy does everything well and has a knack for finding the football.

The one ding is that he's not the strongest LB at the point of attack, but he makes up for that (and them some) with excellent coverage skills and run game awareness. The defense has not looked the same in the games he's missed.

My favorite player on the roster.

Eh. Kind of cherry picking. I think, unfortunately, he was expecting Neal to create more of an impact on Watson and got into clean up mode.

Horrible moment for Milano, but I think we've all seen that play as much as we'd like. Once was enough for me.

it was dumb luck. Two guys sandwich Watson and so he miraculously stays upright because of the impact from either side. If either Neal or Milano hit him alone, watson would have gone down.
