YoloinOhio
There is talk he could return to Vikes on a restructured deal, this gives them much needed cap space of 13 mill. But would be a nice veteran fit with Bills.

whatdrought
Would love to add him, only concern is that I know he’s had some off field issues - not character concerns I don’t think, mental health stuff maybe? I’m not sure the context, but would want to make sure everything is good there.

I don’t know where that stands but the Bills have invested in sports psychologists
H2o
Didn't expect him to walk away from the $$$, but I guess he is possibly looking for more guarantees. The question with him is not his ability, but his mental health. He missed time previously due to that, did he not?

Helps Minnesota financially, but it certainly weakens their defensive front. Griffin should get a $15,000,000-$18,000,000 per year deal, for up to 2 years possibly, elsewhere. He's gonna be 33 years old, and I *think* his play has tailed off a bit I would have thought he would keep his deal while trying to negotiate a restructure - leverage. I'm not sure other teams are gonna line up to give a guy a 3 year, $43.8M deal.
aristocrat
how much of his production the last couple years has been cause of danielle hunter? griffin was very good but hunter is quietly on the fastest sack pace in nfl history.

BuffaloRebound
If the 3 years $43m option had no guarantees, what is the point of even putting it into a contract? Theoretically, griffin could’ve opted in and then the Vikings could’ve cut him the next day. Edited February 20, 2020 by BuffaloRebound

Logic
I like the idea of adding Griffen or Addison, but both are 32 years old and, combined with Jerry Hughes, would still only be an answer for a season or two. At the end of the day, the Bills are going to have to add youth at the position at some point or another.

So your take is his market value at 32 is above his current Minn. contract? 1 hour ago, aristocrat said: how much of his production the last couple years has been cause of danielle hunter? griffin was very good but hunter is quietly on the fastest sack pace in nfl history.
