With Freeman likely to be cut by the Falcons and veteran Frank Gore moving on from Buffalo, the Bills need a back to take some of the reps away from Devin Singletary. Freeman would take over as the goal-line and early-down specialist.  Bills sign him for a 1Yr 3M deal.

All Speculation and a lot of what if games and just throwing stuff but kind of a cool read.

here is the DE Domino for Bills that he speculates

THE BILLS SIGN MARIO ADDISON TO A THREE-YEAR, $42 MILLION DEAL

Sean McDermott has brought in plenty of his favorites from Carolina and just hired former Panthers defensive coordinator Eric Washington as defensive line coach. Addison has been wildly underrated for years -- he's 11th in the league in sacks since 2016 -- and would step in for Shaq Lawson in Buffalo's defensive line rotation.

interesting values he puts on players. Has Bills losing Spain for a 3 year 21M deal. I think if Spain is 7M AAV he better be back in Buffalo

has Washington Cutting Josh Norman and Buffalo Signing him to a 1 year deal in the CB dominos

Yeah I thought it was one of the more interesting features of it's type I've read in a long time.

I felt like the Bills got a little slighted in the big name movement.......but Freeman and Addison make a lot of sense.

Taysom Hill signing an offer sheet with Buffalo is crazy though.............a second round pick will be a high price for anyone to pay let alone $10M per year.

yeah I just read that. I have no idea why Hill would sign an offer-sheet for a team where he has zero chance at locking the starting job down.

I could absolutely see the possibility of the Josh Norman cut and coming back with McD on a one year deal to reset his market though and would love it

if foles and a first is getting traded for someone to eat his cap i would absolutely hope the bills were in on that deal. imagine two firsts in this draft?

Agree and Same with the Njoku trade to NE if it is really only a 6th I would be pissed if Bills where not in on that.

Well the reality for Hill is he'll be 30 years old before this season starts..........if someone offers him $20M for two years he should probably take it regardless.............I just don't know why anyone would.

Yeah I have kinda' taken the position that the Bills will draft a CB and pick up Norman after he gets cut...........he's had success in the system and should be had for peanuts so little risk.

Why?  They have an Offensive Coordinator who does that just fine...

The Taysom Hill hype needs to go away. Super annoying.

I wouldn't hate Freeman, Addison, or Norman as low cost veteran signings.

Serious question, what made Bill Barnwell ESPN's expert? He seems to throw a lot of shitz at the wall all season and hasn't been a liker of the Bills.

Pay. Was cheap so survived the Purge. Either way interesting thing and I bet less that 1% is right but interesting read either way

Not sure if I would love an Addison signing unless it was fairly easy to get out of after 1 or at least 2 years. Addison is going to be 33 next season (although he only started his career at 24 and has only been a heavy rotation player or starter for 6 years.) I also would want Lawson back and cut Murphy. If you sign Addison for about 8-10 million aav you can cut Murphy and save most of that salary. I think if you can get out of it somewhat easily after 1 season (only 50% dead money) and then get out of it easily after 2 (15% or less dead cap hit) then I think you can find better players for that money.

I suspect they will hold onto Murphy even if they have multiple DE acquisitions.     Not much to gain from cutting him........he's at worst injury insurance and trade bait in August.

There is a lot of cap space to gain by cutting him. I don't see him as anything more than a slightly above replacement level player who is paid like a starter.

But gaining cap space is probably not a goal for the Bills this season, while keeping a strong DL rotation (McDermott is a big believer in rotational DLmen) is
