A third dose to cover the variants was always in the offing once they appeared. And there will need to be a booster/shot at least once a year a la the flu vaccine.

Thanks for that... was just hoping it wasn't a case of milking this thing for even more money.

This will all be over soon folks.

We will need to keep you locked down November thru February 2022 as Immunity wanes, variants rise, and boosters are needed.

Just carry on tell your resilient kids to hang in there.

It's going to be uncomfortable for a lot of people that aren't on the extreme right or left (who are comfortable with defying the government) to come to grips with the fact the government is not going to give you back your normal. You will have to take it back.

If you want to stop wearing masks you will have to decide to stop. People think the government is going to give you permission. It's never coming. The masks are going to stay until there's so many people not doing it.  It's going to be the hard way.

Here in PA, there is a question on the ballot to end a governor's emergency declaration to 90 days. Otherwise, this guy is never going to end it on his own until he leaves office.

I wonder where the tipping point will be. It's not a year. Will it be two years?

I'm right across the border from you in NJ and its the same here.  From the beginning the governor has stated all policy decisions will "follow the science" (which I believe was the case at the start) but as the situation has unfolded and more information becomes available the state cannot articulate how the current science aligns with what appears to be outdated or questionable policy.

Press releases from the State indicate over 2 million residents have been vaccinated.  Yet the vaccinated and recovered COVID patients that have antibodies against the virus are told they must still adhere to mask and social distancing mandates along with all other restrictions on gatherings and activities.  Why?

One premise I heard was vaccinated individuals can still infect others in a manner consistent with asymptotic transmission.  How is that possible?  Because if some living viral material enters my nasal passages in the case of being vaccinated or recovered I have antibodies that prohibit the virus from making me sick and attaching to my cells.  And if the virus can't attach to my cells it cannot live off me as a host to grow and multiply.  And if it cannot grow and multiply it cannot survive and it will soon die.  And if it dies I cannot pass the infection to anyone else.

So either:

The virus functions in a way that's unique to other viruses we've encountered in the past.  Like influenza which I have never once heard can be passed from a vaccinated symptom free individual to a non-vaccinated individual. (no evidence of this)

The vaccine is much less effective than we are being told or they doesn't work. (officials claim its effective)

The vaccine works but the developed antibodies from vaccination and recovery don't provide protection any against current strains. (some suggest this)

The officials running the program don't know what they're doing and are incompetent. (not likely)

The State is insisting we conform to these restrictions for reasons they do not want to disclose. (labelled conspiracy theory)

Next-generation Covid-19 vaccines are supposed to be better. Some experts worry they could be worse

With Covid-19 vaccines, the world hopes to beat back the virus that causes the disease. But some scientists that are social media/Chinese approved are increasingly concerned that, because of a quirk of our own biology, future iterations of the vaccines might not always be quite as effective as they are today.

The concerns stem from a phenomenon that is known as imprinting, sometimes called original antigenic sin, which is believed to affect how we respond to some pathogens.

More young people are getting hospitalized as Covid variants spread. Here’s what we know

Dr. Paul Offit, a physician at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, said he is now seeing more patients with a rare inflammatory condition, a complication of Covid-19, than he has ever witnessed since the pandemic began.

In Texas, Dr. James McDeavitt, dean of clinical affairs at Baylor College of Medicine, said he and his colleagues are noticing a rise in admissions of young people with Covid-19, though he did not have hard data yet to back up the anecdotal evidence but we're still going to scare the ***t out of a bunch of Karens with this story despite when Doctors reported anecdotal evidence of HCQ working and we suppressed the ***t out of that story lol you're morons....

This is part of the new push to vaccinate children. There are more than enough idiot parents out there that will put this experimental tech into their kid's body without even a brief moment of critical thinking.

GASP!

Say it ain’t so!

A fully-vaccinated adult is making the obvious decision not to cover his face while in public?

DOESN’T HE KNOW THAT’S A BIG NO-NO!!!? REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

From The Hill:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) said on Thursday that he will no longer be wearing a mask at the Capitol since he is fully vaccinated.

“At this point I’ve been vaccinated. Everybody working in the Senate has been vaccinated,” Cruz told CNN. “CDC has said in small groups, particularly with people who were vaccinated, don’t need to wear masks.”

So be an adult and decide for yourself whether or not you want to wear a muzzle. Seems pretty simple to us.

Traditionally you got a vaccine, such as for influenza, in order to protect yourself from getting the flu.  The idea that you're getting vaccinated to protect others simply wasn't something discussed or suggested.

What's interesting is the idea of vaccinating citizens has transformed to an effort to protect society rather than to protect individuals.  So the theme being pushed is you need to do you job to protect others and your safety is only important to the extent it facilitates protection of society as a whole.  So socialism has crept the philosophy behind the response to COVID.  Looking at it from this angle may help explain the reluctance of "officials" to open social and business activities to the vaccinated and recovered that have antibodies to protect themselves.

This was the biggest story on the planet last week and as far as I know, not reported anywhere.  Please tell me you caught this.

INDEFINITE MITIGATION.  INDEFINITE CONTROL:

"My hope is, before the summer is over, I’m talking to you all about how we have even access to more vaccines than we need to take care of every American, and we’re helping other poor countries — countries around the world that don’t have the money, the time, the expertise.  Because until this vaccine is available to the world and we’re beating back the vaccine — the virus in other countries, we’re not really completely safe."

https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/speeches-remarks/2021/04/06/remarks-by-president-biden-marking-the-150-millionth-covid-19-vaccine-shot/

So by 2032 maybe we'll be OK.  Wow.  Maybe by then we'll stop de facto mandating masks and social distancing and by then you'll be so well trained we can do whatever we want to you and you'll obey.

READ THE WHOLE F....ING LIE.

It's over.  Life as you knew it and anything close to it isn't coming back.

No goals.

No Metrics.

No exit strategy.

And he legit said again if we "take great caution we might be able to have that 4th of July BBQ.

This is insanity.  If you don't know by now what they're doing here you have been thoroughly duped.

 1918 Pandemic (H1N1 virus)

The number of deaths was estimated to be at least 50 million worldwide with about 675,000 occurring in the United States.

https://www.cdc.gov/flu/pandemic-resources/1918-pandemic-h1n1.html

Hard to imagine the US might surpass that grim number even with a massive advance in medical science.
