Anthony Fauci just crushed Donald Trump's theory on the origins of the coronavirus

For weeks now, President Donald Trump has been making the case that the coronavirus originated not in nature but in a lab in Wuhan, China. He said late last week that he had a "high degree of confidence" that was what happened (although he didn't specify why he felt that way) and on Sunday night in a Fox town hall offered cryptically "something happened."

 

Enter Anthony Fauci, the head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease and perhaps the single most prominent doctor in the world at the moment. In an interview with National Geographic posted on Monday night, Fauci was definitive about the origins of the virus which has sickened more than a million Americans and killed more than 68,000:

 

"If you look at the evolution of the virus in bats and what's out there now, [the scientific evidence] is very, very strongly leaning toward this could not have been artificially or deliberately manipulated ... Everything about the stepwise evolution over time strongly indicates that [this virus] evolved in nature and then jumped species."

 

Now, before we play the game of "he said, he said" remember this: Only one of these two people is a world-renowned infectious disease expert. And it's not Donald Trump.

U.S. Warns Against Japan Travel, Sowing New Doubt About Olympics

 

 

The U.S. said Americans should avoid traveling to Japan, with the country under a state of emergency over a widening Covid-19 outbreak that has sown doubts about Tokyo’s plans to host the Olympics in less than two months.

 

The U.S. State Department raised its travel advisory to level four on Monday, putting Japan in a category with a broad swath of nations from Latin America to Europe that Americans are urged to avoid due to coronavirus concerns. The action is a fresh blow to a country struggling to convince its own public and the international community that it’s ready to host the Summer Olympics beginning on July 23, following their delay in 2020.

The headline of that article catches my attention.  In 2020, the "news" uses words like "just crushed" and instead of the President, it zeros in on Donald Trump the person.  It makes it nice and personal.  It's red meat thrown to the hysteric masses on both sides.  Donald Trump is the villain, and Dr. Fauci is the most trustworthy individual in the government.  

 

Now if Fox News runs the story, it swaps it around:  The President disputes Fauci's theory on origin of the virus."

 

If this pandemic hit lets say in 1989, the headline would more or less read like "President, NIA Director disagree on origins of virus"

DON’T LET THE MEDIA GET AWAY WITH U-TURNING ON THE LAB LEAK THEORY — or Dr. Fauci:

 

Almost instantaneously, respectable media voices have switched from writing off the lab leak theory to believing that is somewhere closer to probable than possible. How does that happen?

 

A group of 18 scientists, including one who worked in the Wuhan lab, penned a letter to Science magazine stating the lab leak theory needed to be investigated further.

 

Then Donald McNeil Jr, the former New York Times science writer wrote an extensive explanation of gain-of-function research (the scientific manipulation of proteins in a virus to make it more susceptible for human transmission) and why that it’s possible that this research was being conducted at the Wuhan lab.

 

Shortly after that post, the dominos began to fall. Just this weekend, Anthony Fauci himself, who has long derided the lab leak theory, changed his tune as well, saying that he’s not confident that the virus did not escape a lab.

Schopp is super impressed that McD is "educating" guys on the vaccine.  Schopp sounded dumbfounded that anyone would refuse it and clearly wasn't thrilled with Allen not being all in for it......but understands he doesn't want to divide the room.

We know nothing about Covid.....it's long term side effects....what it does exactly....why it affects people the way it does.

I got the Moderna vaccine but I also have concerns.  You have to be oblivious to have no concerns given the circumstances.  The vaccines were quickly developed, tested, and administered.  In record time.  While credit is given to the efficiencies, focus, and resources that Operation Warp Speed brought to the table a thinking person might wonder if any corners were cut?  Or is this a new approach to the development process that can be a lifesaver in the future?  Who knows for sure.

 

Also, the mRNA approach to the vaccine is based on the field of Gene Therapy.  An area science still views as "experimental".  Its a distinctly new approach to vaccines and in the classical definition of how a vaccine works very different.  And while by all accounts they are working well, with a small numer of adverse side effects reported, there's no data or studies on long term affects or implications.  The implications can range from absolutely nobody suffers any long term effects or thousands of people start dropping dead of some unknown condition.  

 

Lastly, for people that had COVID and recovered there is no need to get vaccinated.  The illness and recovery would generate the antibodies in their immune system.  This fact seems to be lost in the conversation.  The fact its a common and clearly understood process add to the mystery.  Nobody asks or answers the question why does anyone that already has antibodies need the vaccine?  Its a waste of vaccine supply and a violation of medical principles governing unnecessary treatments.  Would they recommend that I get the flu vaccine a couple months after I had the flu?  Doubt it.  So why is COVID different?  Tell me that please.   

 

Frankly, nobody has the right to pass judgment on you because you're either curious or concerned enough to ask questions and want answers while insisting the so-called "experts" back up their conclusions with credible and verifiable facts.   When they don't do that it leads to all kinds of alternative explanations and confusion.

The importance of a lab leak means there was a cover up.  And if there was a cover up, who was behind it?  Who created it and why?  The WHO lied and people died.  And if they've been lying the whole time what else are they lying about.  These are people and institutions you think are keeping you safe.  We're supposed to trust.  

 

But Trump said it would be gone by April!!!  Oh my God!!!  The audacity!!!  - same people mad he said that by the way thought we were going to have an elaborate contact tracing program to eradicate it hahahahaha.  Man I want to know everything Trump knows about this but can never say.
