I give a lot of credit to guys who have done it against NFL defenses, but I think the LSU guys may have a higher ceiling.

The good news is, get ONE top flight guy and this whole deal looks very different.

Only one in four 1st round draft pick NFL receivers in this breakdown from 2000-2014 translate to great pros.

It's basically one per year.  Check it out

Exactly this. While yes they played great in college, that's just it. Until they prove anything in the NFL it's silly to even consider. With that said, even if  they don't turn out amazing, they would still have a shot for our #2. We really need a upgrade badly.

not even close. jamarr chase alone is worth our entire wr corps. if you are throwing in jefferson and co., that is just icing.

and they played 7 top 10 teams this year. only knock on lsu wrs is that they did not go against db university?

Wait till the LSU WRs have to go up against NFL CBs.  Wait till the LSU WRs have to recognize NFL defenses in the blink of an eye, and make route adjustments.  I'm not saying they can't do that, I'm saying that until they show what they can do against NFL competition, this is a silly comparison.

So you are saying all we have to do is get the one? 25% chance we pick the right guy? Ok!

And yet there were five WRs taken in second and early third (and who the Bills passed on) just this past year who appear to be headed for stardom.  It’s not that hard.

The people talking about Brown and Beasley fail to mention that both guys are no better than #3 WR's in this league.

Change that from DuDe to Dolt.  John Brown is more than a #3
