Most of these players have been here for less then 2 years but most of these fans have been through 20 years of sadness. Tonight is a win that gives the fans : 2 weeks of no-fear football and clinched playoff joy. For all the miserable seasons we all sat through. For all of the terrible quarterbacks we defended to our (non bills fan) friends...For all the years of embarrassment and ridicule. For all the “next years.” Tonight is for us! All the suffering was worth this one amazing night of glory and there’s no group of people, I’d rather share it with then the Bills mafia! Congratulations. Enjoy the rest of this year. Great to get into the Playoffs this way, rather than having 50,000 fans sell their first borns soul to the devil for Baltimore to lose on a fluke play! With that said, lets win next week, get the division and play better offense. JA gotta start hittin some deep balls to keep teams honest. Great play Bills! CincyBillsFan Posted December 16, 2019 Share Posted December 16, 2019 I remember the last game of a season about 15 - 20 years ago where all we needed to do was win at HOME against Pittsburgh and we were in the playoffs. It was early in the first decade of our two decades of decedent football and the Steelers beat us. That's when I swore I wouldn't ever care about style points again. The ONLY thing that mattered was to win. We didn’t need crazy help and we might actually be good. This team can win playoff games. We all deserve this and so much more. How many teams could have, would have, if this happened that happened, if this team looses that team looses and we win were in garbage. I'll never forget or forgive the run D that game1 They treated their RB like a HOF and didn't bother to tackle at the LOS or minimize gains. We should've won that game easily, Pittsburgh had nothing to play for--a loss meant nothing to them. Anyone who bet win total futures and make the playoff futures have already clinched all their bets with 2 games to go. With the team now getting national exposure that will include playoff exposure, the opportunities that were available to bet on this season likely will never come around again. We snuck up on a lot of people, but not the hard core Bills fans who had the faith to take the casinos money.
