6-1 on the road bodes well for the playoffs

Recommended Posts

Considering the fact that the Bills will probably play all of their playoff games on the road, their dominance away from Orchard Park this season just may be to their benefit.

Beat *New England next week and serve notice to the rest of the AFC that it may be their house, but we are the master of it.

The team is really built for road games.   Rely on a stout defense and a popgun offense that can score 17 points...

I also wonder if the character makeup of this team is such that they get too amped up for home games and feel that they need to put on a show for the crowd?

Allen certainly does.   Not sure who else fits that profile, however...

the steelers played renegade and allen immediately hit the deep ball.  Ive seen so many teams lose it in that moment when the crowd is all amped up.

I heard on One Bills Live last week that the Bills were playing Renegade at practice in an attempt to get them acclimated the atmosphere at Heinz field.  Seemed to do the trick and  pumped us up more than the Steelers.

This is more evidence of how great this coaching staff is.  I can't recall any year with this great of a road record since the 90's.  Am I wrong?

This one stat just speaks volumes about this team.  So different that what we've forced ourselves to become accustom to as Bills fans.  I could get used to this!

Actually it really doesn't mean much in reality.

7-1 or 6-2 doesn't mean anything in preparation for Houston.

Well it kind of does. If you don’t win on the road and you lose some home games, you don’t get to go to Houston in the playoffs.
I echo what others have said, Allen appears to get to emotional for home games early on. Allen played at Wyoming for less than 30,000 fans. Big adjustment going to the pros and stadiums of 70,000+ . He will settle down and get there.
