Right. That would explain why they "forgot" to inform the Bengals. The Bengals would never agree to it.

And again the optics of it. If this was truly an innocent blunder (and my God what an innocent blunder), choose two teams who you don't play this year.

Not to defend but by nature of following this guy on his job he’s the dude that goes to the next opponents game to scout them, no?

like he would be that guy at any time they did it. That’s why I’m surprised the bengals game would be the week they pull that card out of the deck

Like others said if it’s dirty no way it’s the first time it’s happened. And if you are the #1 team in the league with a sketchy past why even risk something like this for a show? And if you risk it why would you not make sure the league and EVERYONE is informed you’re doing this

It makes sense.

Coming off a loss to the Texans on prime time where Brady looked finished. Bills breathing down their neck for the division. Knowing they might lose to the Chiefs. Dalton is back which means the Bengals are a bit tougher to play.

I doubt this is the only trick they had up their sleeve for filming teams. Again, McDermott escorted Belichick's son off the field just a month or two ago. Many ways to skin a cat.

For a show that, let's be honest, nobody is going to watch. "The day in the life of an advanced scout". Not worth the risk.

I freely admit I don’t know all the details........So there’s that. ?

It seems like this is a regular piece? Did they just pull this card out of the deck, or are they playing it every week? Has this been a “cover story” all year?  I would not put it past them if they thought they could get away with it.

I mean if they were spying on the Bengals I'd say there's a good shot they also spied on teams they were actually worried about.

it’s entirely possible we learn more. This far it’s not portrayed that way, but could easily come out.

With a “regular piece” would be a nice plan. I don’t know if that’s the case, I’m just trying to understand what this is all about......but it would be awesome if this turns out to be true, proven and real retribution comes into play. THAT would be some serious stuff!

The Bills need to get good fast so we can move on from embarrassing stuff like this and focus on our team being good

Bills fans should move on from paying attention to a divisional foe who has been repeatedly caught cheating?

With fans like this...

I like the forced sale of the team idea with the addition of moving them out of the New England area, like to LA, Or St. Louis Missouri,

Or Budapest

Is it just ironic that they ply the Bengals this week?

No. Confidently cheating.

It's literally the advance scout's job to be there watching the team they play the following week.  This "lolz they play the Bengals this week so obviously they are cheating" stuff is so stupid.

I'm not saying they weren't using that "Do Your Job" show thing as a cover/plausible deniability to cheat, hell I'd say it's likely they were, but the fact they play the team the following week MEANS LITERALLY NOTHING because they will have that scout doing that EVERY WEEK.
