Over doping scandal

Russian whistleblower Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov, who was influential in initially exposing the doping cover-up, praised WADA's decision.

"Finally, Russia's many doping and obstruction sins will now get some of the punishment they richly deserve. For far too long, Russia has weaponized doping fraud and state-sponsored criminal activity as a tool of foreign policy," said Rodchenkov via his lawyer Jim Walden, in a statement sent to CNN.

Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov is a brave man. How long is it going to be before someone puts a nuclear isotope in his soup or his car blows up when he turns on the ignition. What some people see as acting honorably Putin sees it as acting as a traitor. In Putin's Russia there will be consequences for making the Russian authorities look bad.

I'm sure he will just decide to relocate on his own, by himself to somewhere secluded that no one will ever see or hear from him again. Nothing bad will happen, nothing to see here.......

Are you referring to the Jimmy Hoffa model of disappearing?

What happened to Hoffa? Didn't he just decide he needed to retire on his own in a secluded area without human contact from anyone?

It was a union retirement plan. The benefits are guaranteed in cement.

getting kicked out of the upcoming total disaster of a World Cup in Qatar is an enviable position

The governing body was smart enough to change the date of the World Cup so the players and fans wouldn't die from the hellish heat. When the decision makers took the bribes to locate the World Cup there they should have considered the weather.

What? You don’t want to play soccer in a pizza oven? Wimp!

There was a missed opportunity here. They could have paid Belichick BILLION$ to help them successfully cheat, and gotten him out of our hair at the same time!

He visited WNY, in fact it was Steelton, NY where I grew up.  His body was found many years later in what is now a nature reserve.

The quarry there was used for the cement he used which is real ironic.

Entrance to Penn Dixie Fossil Park & Nature Reserve is thru this neighborhood and is the former Penn-Dixie Cement Quarry where Jimmy Hoffa’s remains were found in 2004.
