This kid can single handedly ruin that gameplan! Wow .. I understand this is the NFL but Rare to see a rookie DT be playing at the level Oliver has been playing and starting to think he can consistently dominate  , and that'd be a nightmare for Offenses and add another dimension to an already Elite defense.

Thinking his rare speed an athleticism is something Lamar wasn't used to in college,  if he can have a repeat performance,  things can get ugly in Buffalo!!!

Edit - if you can't see full tweet,  Oliver had 6 tackles,  3 tfl , 2 sacks and 1 FF. Not to far off from last week at Dallas. Kid can be special and a game changer

Jesus...Jackson had 43 pass attempts and 25 rushes that day?  How many plays total did they run?  Did anyone else touch the ball?

I’ve been trying to mention this a lot this week. Shaq, milano, and Edmunds (maybe) have experience against him from his ACC days. His year after the heisman wasn’t too great so maybe they remember how to play him (I think that team didn’t have much talent though).

25 rushes for 33 yards???   That’s 2019 Frank Gore-esque

You have to remember that in college ball, sacks are deducted from a QBs rushing yardage as well. And Jackson was sacked some 11.5 times that day.

I remember putting $100 on the ML at +950 on that game. Nice hit. In fact I miss Lamar at Louisville because he was such a great fade after he became really well known. That offense literally turned into give it to Lamar. He manufactured everything on every play. Petrino was just awful in how they utilized him. I like the notion that some of our players are familiar with him but take very little away from his time at Louisville.

I'm not scared of Lamar. He is having an amazing season, should be the MVP if things hold serve, but he will get figured out. You look at his passing numbers and it's easy to say and he's a great pocket passer. He isn't. His athleticism and the power Greg Romans run game has made two athletic QB's look like great passers, especially in the stat book. Lamar is just the next level of it all and Roman is having a field day. But all of his game and the Baltimore offense is predicated on running and once teams figure out how to neutralize that more Lamar will start looking much more baffled. I don't know when the blue print will come, I just know it will. Hopefully this weekend.

Bills need to follow some of this game planning and that is make sure you make somebody other than Jackson beat you.  So be it if they give the the Ball to Ingram make sure you attack Jackson.  Mentioned often that is what Houston did they also blitzed him form various positions a lot.

Granted its a college line vs the blitz but you can see the accuracy issues in the game and how the blitzer disregarded the runner to force the ball out of Jacksons hand.

Lamar Jackson: 25 rushes for 33 yards. In college. How is he doing what he's doing now in the NFL? Why can't an NFL team hold him to a statline like this?

Gap integrity Bosa and Anderson for SF were crashing way to hard on Ingram and giving the outside run up.  Been that way most of the year.  I would rather the ball go to Ingram vs leave Jackson one on one.

wait really?  So if a QB takes a 5-step drop and the pocket collapses immediately and he’s sacked, it counts as negative rushing yardage for him?

Said it in another thread, but EO could very well play a major role defensively in containing a guy like Jackson. EO is EXCEPTIONAL at tracking ball carriers from behind and LJ likes to dance. That gives EO an opportunity to diagnose and aid the LB's in blowing up or containing big runs.
