Stallions
Is their dominance on TV driven by Jerry Jones? A long history of being the best NFL team in Southern TV markets? Fans across the NFL world hoping the Cowboys fail? The large TV market in TX, OK, Missouri & Arkansas? Playing in the NFC East with huge TV markets in NYC, Philadelphia & Washington? WHY?

Even when they are losing, they seem to thrive in the residue of past glory. The same can be said about the Dolphins. Both teams have not won a thing in years, yet they somehow stay relevant. I Don't get it either.

SJ Bills backer
When will FOX stop pushing the cowboys? About the same time they stop pushing trump down our throats (sorry - more appropriate for PPP board) 3 1

Those reasons, plus the fact that they are one of the very few teams with a true national fanbase, should spell it out for you. Have fun with it - watch them lose. Repeatedly. It’s very satisfying. BigDingus
Do you not enjoy watching them lose? It's not like Fox (or the sports media members in general) have been kind to them. They're not out there raving about them or making excuses for them, if anything they're piling on more & more. I'm enjoying every minute of it, more Cowboys coverage please, it's hilarious!

Doc Brown
All those things you said plus the most powerful and hands on owner in all of the NFL. This year you have the added nobody can turn away from a train wreck element.
sherpa
TV decisions are business based, and the Cowboys draw higher ratings than other teams. Selecting a game which will likely produce higher ratings leads to greater add revenue, and that is their job.
