I loved watching him play in Clemson but was disappointed with how his game translated to the NFL. I would have no problem extending his contract given how he is playing this year. Trent's contract makes that very likely next year. 2020 salary is $8,950,000 if released, his cap hit is $1,750,000 the difference of $7.2 mil can be used on Shaq or someone else... The concern is that Shaq is a one time contract driven player to fall back into his habits of the past. I will take what he is doing if he has truly made the change.
