Any chance we bring him back with H$'s struggles?

UPDATE:

Looks like we took a shot at him... Kinda sucks to lose him to a team that isn't going to need a kicker for the playoff run. I wonder what this means for H$'s future here- probably not good for it, that's for sure.

Should we turn to the poll to decide what to do???

We should save that for "Should Josh Allen be Benched?" and "Is Ed Oliver a Bust?". Kickers aren't worthy of polls.

Nothing against Hauschka personally but he's in his own head now. This is a call a good team would make. You know the kid already, he's familiar with Ferguson as the LS and Bojorquez as the holder from his time here in camp. You don't often get the chance to get anything other than a journeyman at this point of the season (see the Patriots)

Actually speaking of the Patriots I could see them trying to get him.

The bet here is that he will be a patriot.

Agreed. He should be a Bill but they aren't going to do their brutally struggling (75.5% on FG since the start of last year) veteran like that, despite him being 27th and 28th in FG% the last two years

5/9 40-49 yards. I will pass and roll the dice with Haushka since he is not a clear upgrade. Hope the Pats sign him and he misses a few kicks for them.

for comparison, Haushka is 7/8 at 40-49 yards in a down year

Most of his misses came with the Chargers, in his first few games in the league. I'm still okay with it. With the 49ers he only missed one kick, and that was after he nailed one from 47 to force OT.

I would sign him to the practice squad to put pressure on Hauschka while still having another option in house in case he doesn’t turn it around

Kicking in the NFL is pretty bad right now. He will get his shot somewhere, and I'm guessing it wont be on a practice squad. Just my 2 cents. Hes looked solid for a green rook.
