Is Jason Garrett coaching for his job Thursday?

I'd love to see the Bills destroy the Cowboys & have the camera keep focusing on Jerry getting all mad & embarrassed.  Lets get up 35-0 at halftime & see if Jerry is the head coach in the 2nd half.  Justice would be Bills 52 Cowboys 17.

If only I were an omnipotent being.............................

The only way Garrett gets fired is if Buffalo completely shellacs them tomorrow. Other than that Jerry will just keep him around until the end of the year when his contract runs out.

it's been entertaining showing us Jerry 12 times a games

the lowest of the low was showing Art Modell 80 times a games when the TV contracts were coming up

I'd take anything over Jones.  I'd take Georgia Frontierre done up in one of her Tammy Fay Baker outfits over Jones.

if he fires Jason after the Bills beat the snot out of them, he could promote Kris Richard to interim HC to get a feel for how he would do as a permanent replacement.

Indeed he could. An embarrassing loss on Thanksgiving would surely be the final straw though.

I believe that he is. They will make Kris Richard the interim HC if he loses.

If he doesn't win the NFCE in this the weakest year in memory then he should walk the plank

It's the Cowboys not the buccaneers.

I think a better analogy would be "put out to the pasture"

Losing to Buffalo will make Jerry's head explode on National TV. Hide the children....

Completely agree; makes this a dangerous game for us.  They'll either come out, fired-up to save their leader - or they'll 💩 the bed 😂

Let's say the Bills lead 28-0 midway. Does Garrett get fired at halftime?

He is coaching for his job for the rest of the season.  The Bills game isn't going to be the answer.  The dude will probably have to get to a superbowl to keep his job or at least a conference champ game or something.

Maybe he just retires instead.

It’s odd right? Never see the camera pan towards Pegs

If we beat them tomorrow, he's definitely on the hot seat, and most likely coaching the Giants next season

IMO, regardless of how the season plays out, he won't get fired until the Giants and Redskins make decisions about their head coaching vacancies.

The last thing JJ wants is seeing Garrett coach against the Cowboys in the division.  You may say "so what?" to that but Garrett walks out the door with over a decade (been in a coaching capacity of some sort since 2007) of corporate knowledge about the Cowboys.  A guy with that longevity, as they say,  "knows where the bodies are buried."  Plus, it'd just likely piss off JJ.

The Cowboys season isn't over.  They can win that division.

Or does the team simply refuse to follow him out ala Varsity Blues?

I’ve never heard Jerruh so pissed. I think he’s cranky that they are paying so much money for this roster and have drafted well and he’s stuck in neutral. Just making the playoffs isn’t good enough. He wants a SB. Losing to the Bills would send him over the edge. If they win tomorrow (I do think they will unfortunately), I think he’s gone eventually unless they are at least in the nfc championship.

No. Why don't people believe Jones when a reporter asked him directly if he would replace Garrett before the end of the year and he said "The answer is no. Period."

Seems pretty clear Garrett will finish out the season.
