Could Bills @ Steelers get flexed to Sunday night or 4pm?

Just reviewing the slate of games that day, it maybe possible for the Bills @ Steelers game to possibly get moved pending playoff implications...

The other games that day don't look like they would move any of them.

Plus the Sunday night game is Minnesota @ Chargers, which is snooze fest with Chargers basically being out of it.

Possibly.. Pending how the Bill and Steelers records are by then

i can never figure these things out..but that week Fox has the 4.25 game,a nd that Dallas v Rams..so that aint getting moved, so would have to be night game.

Either way, it has to be twelve days in advance, so each team will have two games before that

There is a cut off date to flex right?  We will know somewhat in advance, then.  I favor day games....as 4pm in the East runs into dusk.....varying lighting conditions throughout the game.

The only one I’m aware of is they have to give 12 days notice. Week 17 they only have to give 6 days notice.

Would likely mean each team goes 2-0 in that stretch to get the flex.

My quick take is as follows:

We are very poor in primetime games in recent years. Playing the majority of games at 1pm on sundays gets players in a habit of sorts. Throw in the fact that it will probably be the first REAL away game this year, as Pittsburgh is in a playoff race and tickets are scarce at the moment (I know of many fans going to Dallas).

Having said that, getting a national TV game will be great experience for 17, 27, 49, 88 and other young players as the playoffs near.

I agree 100 % !!!

The only thing that matters is the W !!!!

We don’t need extra distraction and pressure knowing the whole country is watching ,

Im sure it will be loud as hell already at 1:00 pm ( IMO ) at night it would probably be even crazier,

screw all that let’s just go there take care of business and hopefully get out of there with a W !!!

GO BILLS!!!

Could be Not a great slate of games but we'd be up against rams cowboys for that flex.  Very outside chance of panthers seahawks if the panthers can win a couple games but not looking likley.  This is a possibility I didn't realize we'd be up for.  Vikings Chargers def not playing that night you'd think.

Flexing achieves nothing, much rather tune in at 1:00 on Sunday and have the evening to read about the win, but that’s just me...

Go Bills!!!

I would bet that Rams/Cowboys is absolutely the game that Fox protects (or protected; I'm not sure if they had to already decide on that) due to it being two major TV markets + the name brand for each team. There's no way they would want to give that away.

It could definitely be in play, I think, and depends more on the Steelers continuing to win than anything. The decision has to be made by Dec 3. If the Bills split the Broncos and Cowboys and the Steelers go 2-0 against the Bengals and Browns, they will be 8-4 and 7-5 when the decision has to be made. Buffalo then gets Baltimore and the Steelers get the Cardinals. This is potentially a matchup of two 8-5 teams with heavy, heavy playoff implications.

And lose the LA market for the Chargers!!  Are you serious??  LOL

My take on flex games is the league doesn't like to move them unless the scheduled game is really terrible and there's a much much better game to takes it's place.  Having said that I think Minn is good enough that they'd like to keep on Sunday night, and not sure Buffalo Pitt is that attractive to take it's slot.  Don't know what the 4:00 games are, may be take the spot of one of them??
