In Hindsight, Broncos Fans Want Josh Allen Over Bradley Chubb

Recommended Posts

A journalist in Denver put this tweet out the other day asking fans whether they would still draft Bradley Chubb over Josh Allen in the 2018 draft.

As you can imagine this trigger a lot of responses.  For the most part it was mixed but overall  a lot of fans actually said that they would take Josh Allen over Bradley Chubb.

Of course, you get the usually Twitter crowd trying to quantify why he Allen isn’t good.

Overall a lot of them seem to be down on Chubb and are concerned about the QB position.   One fan called Chubb “an OLB with a bum knee” ?

Id say it’s about 60-40 Allen over Chubb based on those responses

Chubb is injures on your team that is 3-7 and your quarterback situation is less than ideal. You are now playing the team that is 7-3 with the quarterback you could if picked. Probably only natural for some Denver fans to wish they had picked Allen to go with their defense.
Elway has been better at finding defensive talent than he has quarterbacks.
I do think Chubb is a good player and should have a great career ahead of him.

Of course it helps when you are picking very high in the draft and players like Von Miller & Bradley Chubb are right there for you to grab.

That makes Elway more lucky than savvy.

When you can pay Case Keenum 20 Million, you have to pass on Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen, so you can trade for Joe Flacco and draft Drew Lock

I understand the differing opinions. But someone over there is suggesting that Lock's floor is what Allen is playing at now, and that Locke is likely to be much better than Allen.  I don't even know what to do with that comment.

Point and laugh and pray they're infertile?

didn't zerovolt bring this up a while ago?  he claimed he went to their message board and brought up the same question, (which is strange) and was laughed at.

What was strange, that he was laughed at or was trolling another team?  Wonder how many Mohomes references he snuck in there.

it looked like he was trolling the bills board.  after all, what chief fan would go to a broncos board to ask that question of a bills qb?  i get it, but that's the definition of having far too much time on your hands.
