I’m not sure - I’ve not been in a pro locker room but I have been in a college locker room and they have a board that shows how many workouts guys have missed

At the big schools his fines might have been even higher!

(But more secretive.)

I mean, he decided not to tell the team until after he no call no showed his job twice in a week?

While on IR though? Really? The Jets are surely gonna be an attractive FA destination this coming offseason. Yep

When you boil it down this is EXACTLY what happened. Then he comes back and plays the victim. Do things the way you knew they needed to be done and none of this happens.

The issue isn’t who is “right” or “wrong”. Osemele might not have been “right” either. It’s that they have players who want to put the team on blast. There is purpose behind that. And that onunwa said teammates told him it was ***** go. Perception is everything.

shame on them if they didn’t communicate the expectations or consequences but whether or not he’s playing on Sunday he should be showing up to mandatory events for his employment and meetings with team doctors and trainers while injured are surely part of it

As someone who has worked freelance for close to 30 years, my perception is that Enunwa has a legitimate beef, and good reason to be upset, but he really should have kept his mouth, and Twitter account shut. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and quiet. This Twitter tantrum may, or may not hurt his reputation, but it definitely won't help!

there’s certainly underlying issues in that room but the very specific circumstance here looks worse on him than them- unless there’s an underlying issue like not enforcing the rules consistently. That they publicly display it at least suggests they are consistent and want the expectations and consequences known/visible... but it’s the jets so who knows for sure

Enough is enough with these players taking to social media crying because they got punished, fined, benched, etc.

Its beyond ridiculous, and unprofessional.

This guy takes a 4 day weekend, doesn't show up to work, doesn't call off to tell work he won't be there, then gets mad he's been penalized?   In the real world you'd be fired buddy.

The league needs to come down hard on these social media posts.

1st offense - mandatory 4 game suspension without pay.

2nd offense - mandatory 8 game suspension without pay.

3rd offense - mandatory 16 game suspension without pay and team rights to terminate players contract without repercussions.

Enough is enough all ready.

This is about the Jets being a dysfunctional franchise?
