It's time to take the training wheels off the offense.

Let Josh be Josh and allow him to ball out.

McD needs to stop coaching scared.  He wants more points? Than let Josh and the offense do their thing.
All the talk he do about Andy Reid in Philly, he took chances and allowed his D Coordinator to run the D.
Let the Offense get coached by Dabol and fix the run D.

Other people are saying run Singletary more.

Allen threw 41 times on Sunday.  How much more do you want him to throw?

It was just a bad mix. Wrong plays at the wrong time. And the thing that really pissed me off is when Josh would start to run when a play broke down and he'd hesitate and start looking for receivers then miss or take off and get 2 yards when he could have had 20-30 yds. Last year he would have taken the 30, this year its hold his balls in a sack. Very frustrating to watch drives stall like this over and over.

They drafted a bad quarterback. A year later they drafted another bad quarterback, but this time they were determined to let him sit and learn for a while. Problem is, they only had QB A to start in the meantime while QB B learned from a former WR coach.

We are just witnessing the end result of all that mess and the people who put it all together.

Yes, he threw the ball 41 times with only 14 handoffs, against the team who is 30th in the NFL in run defense. Let’s get even MORE extreme! What a great plan........

I agree. Let’s face it we don’t have an offensive identity.

We are supposed to be a running team when we don’t run it.

We throw 40 times but no jet sweeps. 1 botched screen, no swings and no slants.

We had occasions with 10-12 yard cushions on our outside guys but Daboll doesn’t have a  quick read pass to throw immediately outside on the first 2 downs? (Mayfield did)

Hardly a ball contol offense.

Our head coach needs to step in and tell the OC that he expects balance. If not McD needs to go. Scoring under 20 points in the NFL every week is unacceptable..

EJ may have been mishandled by Marrone and staff, he should have sat for a few years to develop.
Tyrod was already afraid to make mistakes.

Right, you just proved my point.  The narrative that it’s not the QB, it’s always someone or something else.  Clockwork.

There are arguments for both sides. All I know is that it is impossible for a 23yr old kid to do his job at a high level when he is afraid to make a mistake.

There is no reason for Josh to throw it 41 times when we have a strong running game and an even stronger defense. Especially when the score is in the teens. Running sets up play action passes thus making JA much more effective.  PA would make our speed an asset. Besides, Running the ball would also allow an effective playmaker to help carry the load on offense. Daboll needs to set the offense up for success.
