Allen's play in the 2 drives to end each half vs the rest of the game

Put this in another thread but I think it's a worthwhile discussion as a thread of its own.

 

The Bills had the ball for just over 28 minutes in terms of time of possession yesterday. There were two drives the end each half. Those two drives took up about 5 minutes, about 17% of the entire time the offense had the football.

 

Josh Allen's stats on those 2 drives:

9/17 for 165 yards (9.7 YPA)

 

Josh Allen's stats the rest of the game:

13/24 for 101 yards (4.2 YPA)

 

Allen and the Bills were also 3/5 (60%) on 3rd down conversions on those 2 drives whereas their 3rd down conversion % for the entire game was 38% so obviously taking out those 5 drives would drop that % even more.

 

So what happened on those 2 drives that we aren't able to replicate for the rest of the game?

I do know that defenses tend to go more prevent D during the final minutes of a half.  Possibly the reason for the yardage increase and improved 3rd down efficiency.

There were almost 4 minutes left at the end of the 1st half when Buffalo got the ball.
