Daboll is an excellent play caller

What?  By my logic, if the OC is creating open receivers for his QB then he is doing a fine job, regardless of run/pass ratio.

Well, let’s look at your logic a little bit.   I guess if all the WR were equally skilled at running all routes and catching all throws, and the QB was equally skilled at making all throws no matter what pressure he’s facing,  it would make sense.

But the other viewpoint is that these are human beings with different strengths and weaknesses on the field, and those should be taken into account.

False. NFL analytics shared that the Browns ran more Cover Zero looks today than all season. Try again.

I wasn’t talking about just what they did today, but what they’ve succeeded or failed at all season.  And they were not running Cover Zero on 41 of our pass plays today, no?

They can show that look all they want...you force them to execute it...something they havent done all year..dabol fooled noone but himself with his playcalling AGAIN

Exactly!!!!.....Dabol is ruining allen amd putting too much on his shoulders...this team is built to set allen up through the run and a defense that doesnt break....both of those things havent really happened in our losses

How many years does dabol have as an nfl coordinator?

How many years does allen have as a nfl qb?...

Dabol has a claim of the #24 ranked offense under his belt with two rankings near dead last....singletary was avg better than 4 yards a carry and he only gets 8 carries?...criminal...but yet your 2nd year qb throws it 41....not to mention browns great pass d and their horrible run d it should be a no brainer to run...same against philly...we pass the ball 35 times in 45mph winds and rush like 12..smh..dabol is the main issue and our weakest link on offense

The funny part is fans around here act like Daboll has been a great OC everywhere else he’s been but, he’s always been a horrible OC in the NFL.  I wonder how many of his defenders have actually seen his offensive stats the other times he’s been an OC. The same way the Bills rank at the bottom of the league on offense is how his other units have ranked. As a matter of fact for those criticizing the QB so much you can argue this has been his most successful ranking as a OC in overall offensive stats.

3rd and 3. Deep shot. 3rd and 4. Deep shot. And it wasn't Josh choosing to go deep, the play call on 3rd and 3 didn't have a route less than 10 yards down field.

The Browns game was his worst performance yet. You give Singletary the ball 8 times? You run a sweep with Gore, who's probably the slowest back in the league at this point? Also of note, Allen is much more successful throwing to his left than to his right. Guess which side of the field he's throwing to on those deep shots... it's like Daboll can not dissect film.
