I'm sorry but if your struggling to learn the playbook after an entire off and on season of full participation that indicates to me you're lacking in memory retention IMO, though to my own admission I'm not a brain specialist. There are many forms and character traits that form an athlete. Strength, agility, speed, elusiveness, vision, awareness, endurance, pain tolerance, poise, anticipation, etc. Performing at the highest professional level with any combination of these traits IMO makes you an athlete. We'll know in about 48 hours. I'm not sure if it was the defensive play-calling or the execution that was bad last week, but it seemed like Edmunds was out of place a lot. I understand he needs reps, I understand he was a first round pick. But they chose new era field, one of the loudest stadiums, and against one of the best pass Ds in the league for his first start? I can’t think of a worse idea. Miami chose otherwise with starting Fitz instead of Rosen there and that made sense.
