I hope he gets what he wants and is happy which ever way it goes for him.

Did you sell the stromboli recipe to General Foods, or sign a deal to get them into Wegmans, or something?  You’re just too happy lately...🤔

no thanks. he will want BIG money. he is aging and NEVER healthy as of late. we are better off going thru the draft and better bang for our buck in FA

I don’t think he’ll be a big target for the Bills. Unless he comes in at the right price.

He seems like a “process” type of guy, but I think they’ll want to go after a #1 for Allen in the draft. This is the year to do it. And they have a bit of ammo to move up if they like anyone in particular (I think it’ll be between Shenault & Higgins in the 1st)

Beane hasn't shied away from signing injury prone players... so I think that aspect wouldn't scare them away from signing Green as a free agent.  Morse, Kroft, Brown, Kevin Johnson, EJ Gaines, and Trent Murphy are the ones that come to mind.  I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills inquiring about his situation after the season

1st question would be if he could even pass a physical.  The I'd offer 10m 1 year. He was great, he's old and broken sadly

That’s what people said about James Lofton before he came here and ripped off another 3 really good years....

Yep. He was an All Pro, but his stint with us catapulted him into the HOF.

Wouldn't surprise me if he talks Cincy into releasing him in the offseason. Then we’d talk.

Bills used to do stuff like this all the time. A good player that everyone knew would walk in free agency would not be traded in the middle of a lost season. One of the things I admire about McDermott and Beane is their willingness to take what they can get for players they have no intention of keeping in the future. Good teams know when to cut bait. Teams like the Bengals lie to themselves until it's too late. Too bad because we could have really used Green this year.

He's a UFA this offseason, no need to be released. I hope we go after him hard.

Are you sure Cincy doesn’t have an option? Tag?

Will AJ ever have another season over 800 yards? I think his days of being a premiere wideout are over. His body is falling apart. Unless he changes his name to Emmanuel Sanders I think he is toast.

We may have a leg up on getting his type of player ( i.e. injury history with potential to recapture their former glory) with our state of the art training facility

...pretty sure they would...BUT...megabucks for someone injury suspect I would think......2019 WR tag value is $16.787 million ....so he'd get $2 mil per game, right?.....

Still might make more sense then long term deal IMO.

You hate to give up what could still be an elite pass catcher in a pass heavy NFL.
