One aspect of the game the Bills won

The two best quarters to have the wind at your back in Orchard Park are the 2nd and 4th quarters.  That's because they are typically the longest Qtrs with two minute warnings and team timeouts. The Bills maneuvered after the coin toss to have the wind for BOTH of them. That is a fantastic job, and I think 8 out of 10 times would have helped win us the game. Most teams when they had to receive the opening kickoff would've chosen the wind at their backs but the Bills didn't.  Good to see some smart decision making.  But Philly went off with a great running attack today and ball controlled it the 4th quarter. Good on them, but not easy.  Belichek never would've allowed Buffalo to have the wind for both 2nd and 4th Qtrs.

Fantastic job? They got lucky and won the coin toss.

And what would Belichick have done - make the wind change directions?

Or... Bills have a "Bledsoe Moment."

Every team in the league would have acted similarly with the wind today.

Didn't Drew Bledsoe screw it up.  It happens.  I get what the OP is saying.  Team is keeping good order... Even if it didn't pay off today.

Maybe we can have the stadium clock operator "forget" to set the clock back an hour next Sunday morning.  Then he could "remember" to make the reset whenever the Redskins have the ball with the wind at their backs.  That would give us a clear field position advantage, because the Redskins would have a full HOUR less time with the wind at their backs.  Wouldn't that give us a MUCH greater wind advantage than just having the wind at our backs during the typical 2nd and 4th quarter time-outs and the 2-minute warnings for each half?

Wait . . . .

What?

The downside to that is when the Eagles receive on the start of the 3rd quarter the seats are only half full and crowd noise is negligible.   Its why teams on the road like to defer according to Tasker.
