On two of our sacks vs the Titans - the Zo one and the third Jordan Phillips one - Ed Oliver was doubled leaving his fellow DT (Zo was in at DT in their rush package on the play he got the sack) with a 1 on 1 to win and they did just that. EDIT: and on the third Phillips sack, Oliver beat the double team too and was at the Quarterback about half a tick after Phillips. Had Jordan not already got there that would have been Ed's sack. MJS Posted October 15, 2019 Share Posted October 15, 2019 The most effective thing for a pass rusher to do is hit the QB as he is releasing the ball or be right in his face as he is throwing it. Those cause turnovers. I thought on one sack that Oliver should have been given a 1/2 sack.
