In a conversation that got loud enough to be heard across the locker room, Whitehead made clear he was not backing down from what he tweeted. Whitehead eventually left the locker room and was escorted toward the team buses by a different media relations official, who told reporters that Whitehead had decided not to grant an interview request. Whitehead wore a brace on his left hand as he left the locker room. The Browns had listed him on their injury report during the practice week but he was a full practice participant and started Sunday’s game. So, to recap, Whitehead was still in his shoulder pads and cleats while inviting people to come find him. One of those people was a team employee who was on the clock. At some point during the open locker room period, Whitehead’s Twitter account was suspended for violating terms of service. Hours after the game, he was still posting on Instagram.
