Bills are 25th Offensive Points

The crappiest thing about being so bad offensively is the way in which we fail to take advantage of good field position.

Allen turning the ball over is an obvious problem, but the amount of times our defense has flipped field advantage in our favor, or our returners have put us in good position, only to let it go to crap via taking bad sacks, penalties, turning it over or failing to convert a 1st down is so painful to watch.

If we can start capitalizing on more of that, even if only with FG's, it'll help dramatically.

Our offensive line and ST's is commiting a stupid amount of penalties

Josh Allen's ball security is going to improve.....but the fact is he has put that ball on players in the end zone and they keep not making plays on it.

I truly believe Devin is a big part of our offensive success going forward even though Frank Gore has been solid......we are VERY good in the red zone

Did some research into the turnovers to come up with this statistic:

If you take our turnovers in which we were past our 40 yard line and you assume that we net a field goal that drive, our points per game go from 18 to 22.8 and from 25th in the league to 15th.

Granted we wouldn't score every drive in that scenario, but we would also get a touchdown sometimes rather than a field goal.

Point being, we’re moving the ball successfully and we just need to start finishing these drives.  The next question is whether this is a step forward that Allen can take after the bye week, or if it’s a step that we’ll have to wait another off-season for.

Were all all hoping for the former, and it’s possible seeing his dramatic in season improvements last year.

This makes sense, the yards, first downs and ToP are there.   Stop with the turnovers and the points will go up..easier said than done though with the QB since if he gets conservative, the yards, first downs and ToP may also go down.  You need to continue that while reducing the turnovers.
