HOUSE
Buffalo Bills, Super Bowl champs? Perhaps a bit too soon for that. But the oddsmakers are recognizing the Bills’ start to the 2019 season, that’s for sure. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2019/10/07/buffalo-bills-super-bowl-odds-leap-following-4-1-start/

SlimShady'sSpaceForce
Quote At +4000, the Bills are given the same odds at the title as the Los Angeles Chargers. Teams the Bills have better odds at the title than current, in order, include, the Lions, Jaguars, Raiders, Titans, Bucs, Giants, Steelers, Falcons, Broncos, Jets, Cardinals, Bengals, Redskins and Dolphins. ^ not a super ringing endorsement but hey. the odds makers kind of know what they are doing. drawing in suckers to bet,

Got confused for a minute, thinking they were saying the two teams were playing each other. Punctuation is important.

The last two times the Bills opened 4-1, they wound up with a losing record. Does that predict the future? Absolutely not. But neither does opening 4-1 mean they're on the way to the Super Bowl. So long as the offense remains poor, a couple of injuries on the D and things can change overnight. So, fingers crossed.
Another Fan
We’ve seen some fast starts before that fizzed out but you can’t say the foundation on those teams were better than this one

Honestly I don’t think there is any real reason for super bowl conversations after week5. One difference this year is a comparatively easy schedule. Of course anything can happen, but there should be 2 wins against the Fins, and wins against the Jets, Redskins and Broncos to get to 9, which actually may be enough to at least make the playoffs considering how bad the AFC appears to be. If they can manage home wins against the Eagles and Ravens you get to 11, and perhaps even 12 against a Benless Steelers team. Unfortunately, even 12 wins is likely a wild card berth, and winning 3 games on the road is a daunting challenge to say the least. Ultimately it should be out to be a good season but I wouldn't lay money on even making the AFC Championship, let alone the Super Bowl. If they make it, it'll be the defense that carries them there. The last time we started 4-1, it wasn’t a sustainable-type of winning. With our defense being this good through five games, this IS sustainable
