Jay Gruden fired

He's been there a long time with no success.

He took over a 3-13 team and had winning records his 2nd and 3rd years, (something that's been about as frequent in DC as it has in Buffalo). Then after going 7-9 in an injury riddled 2017, he was 6-3 and leading the division in his 5th year when Alex Smith snapped his leg.

It's not exactly a HOF resume, but given the circumstances, not the least of which was working for Dan Snyder, it's hard to say the guy was an abject failure.

They don't even let him coach against Miami next week, that's cold.

That's because Snyder wanted Gruden to taken the expected spanking by NE and now his replacement can possibly get a win right after Snyder fired Gruden.
