Does Daboll's NE background benefit us vs Pat's?

One would like to think it would, somehow.  But BB is the dark master.  He's proved it time and time again.  My dream is that McD and Daboll have a lot up their sleeves for BB and Brady but don't want to tip their hands until it's absolutely necessary - maybe 2nd meeting or playoff game?   One can always dream, eh?

I am curious to see if Josh Allen can run the ball at all in this game.  My theory is that there is enough tape out there now for BB to make sure Allen does not run like a gazelle all over the field.  Can Josh overcome that and still be effective?

One of many side stories to watch.

Yes it helps. it helps because I believe DaBoll's success as a coach comes from having roots in the Bellicheck coaching tree. That alone gives him some insight to the mindset beign used in NE. Daboll is a dynamic game planner. He will have something dialed up for NE that we have not seen much of, or at all this season. It will be based on where he feels they have perceived weaknesses and of course how he thinks Bellicheck and Co are going to plan for us. Familiarity has to have some advantages

To be fair though we didn't have much in the way of weapons then.

None of the former NE coaches have been able to outcoach Belichick.

So there you have it, advantage zero.

Does not mean the Bills curl up in some corner sucking their thumb.

Have to come out and execute, be physical, win their 1 on 1 battles, and let the chips fall where they may.
