Hm, I looked through that thread and really it's not bad.  Few Pats fans even saying not to underestimate us.  Sorry, I see nothing there to get upset over.

They logged in to a message board that talks about the most hated franchise in pro football.  It is the original sin that cannot be absolved or expunged.  They are therefore trash.  ?

Pretty typical stuff. I think they actually quoted me in there (I have said that they're not "all that" - I guess they missed that they played a 3rd stringer at home today).

I'm sure it would happen to any fanbase w/ that kind of success, but am I supposed to envy that?  That's some truly cartoonish arrogance going on there.  Even on twitter, the main chatter was that they should have won by more.

They will win, until they don't and without a quality qb in the wings the Pats may become a second tier team again for a while. If JA keeps improving, we may have a good QB for 10 or 20 years. That would be a nice change. For now the Pats are the Pats and our chances of winning this game and the division are miniscule, but TB wont play forever. It might be this week. It might be next year. It might be in 2, but our time is coming.

We can only hope they don't pull a Green Bay or San Francisco & follow up one HoF QB with another one immediately afterwards.

It just wouldn't be fair to follow up Brady with the next Steve Young or Aaron Rodgers, or even the next Andrew Luck.

Also, I'm shocked even ONE Pats fan said something like this:

"Until the Ravens game in Week 9, this is probably the only other game that I think there is a chance we lose. The Bills have been pretty good so far and we are short-handed."

That's a major improvement over most years. I don't see much in that thread to get upset about, mostly just them joking about Bills fans shenanigans (which everyone does).

The AFC champ this year is probably either the Patriots or the Chiefs.  I think there are some other good teams including the Bills, but no one in the class of those two.  Neither will go undefeated, I think, but they'll both win 12 or 13 games, and the top seed in the AFC playoffs will win the SB.

All that said, the Bills have a decent chance of winning next Sunday. They haven't played a complete game yet.  If they do it on Sunday, they could win.

As for the Pats fans, why bother getting into it with them?

Next week may be the biggest game in Buffalo in a very long time.

The buildup will be huge but I think the balloon will be deflated rather quickly after kickoff.  The Bills simply do not have the offense to hang with the Pats.

I live in Putriot's territory and they, like all of us fans, have blinders on. I pointed out to a friend (well he may not be anymore) that the Pat's run that pick play all the time and never get tagged by a penalty until way late in the game when it doesn't matter. His response was no they never run a pick play; well sure enough they got flagged (and the Steelers also) for a pick late in the game. He actually did acknowledge it after the game but of course used the "they did it too excuse."

I give Belicheat credit for doing it as he knows it works and they won't get called most of the time but it sure would be nice if the officials then allowed it both ways. I guess that's the real frustrating part of watching the Pats as the penalties come at rather strange times (or should i say opportune for the Pats) and of course the officials even them out toward the end of the game so it looks balanced. They have a great coach and QB so they really don't need the help; just not a good situation for the NFL.

Lol I wonder how many of those 'fans' were there before the first SB win, and how many of them will stick around when Belichick and Brady retire and they become just another team

You hit he nail on the head - whenever i talk to a Pat's fan 40 or over and ask how many games they attended when in Foxboro (and they weren't winning) the silence is deafening.
