I dont blame McDermott for passing on watson and mahomes. Imho McDermott had info leaked to him from Carolina's scouts and possibly Bean about draft prospects that he went off of. Seeing how Carolina wasnt looking for a qb that year bean couldnt sign off on any in that draft. That would leave McDermott to rely on the same GM and draft scouts that made EJ Manuel a 1st round pick. No way in the world would i have believed anything Whaley said about drafting a QB... Peroid.
