The Sun: Mysterious object from interstellar space ‘approaching our solar system’.

It's a Doomsday Machine!  In all seriousness if we accept the idea that our solar system is slightly over 4.5 billion years old and therefore neighboring systems the same that debris could travel from one system to the next over that time period.  Would not need FTL propulsion but just endure a great period of time such as a billion years.

The first, a cigar-shaped object called Oumuamua, took the world by storm when it careened past Earth in 2017.

A pair of Harvard scientists claimed it could be an alien spacecraft, sparking a frantic flurry of scans as the object closed in on the Solar System.

Experts found no signs of alien signals, and Oumuamua whizzed past Earth before its true origin could be determined.

Sometimes a cigar-shaped object is just a rock.

Two objects in just a couple years seems pretty unusual.

I think we're just getting better at/putting more emphasis on detecting them.

Things do change, though, for sure. We're on a rock that's spinning around a star that's spinning around a galaxy that's spinning around a cluster that's spinning around universe that's spinning....

Things that spin eventually run into other things.
