Seriously?  No one in 27 years has thrown for over 200 yards in 6 straight games?  Sad.

Thats exactly what I took out that too...more like, WOW, WTF...thats pretty pathetic actually.

This may as well have to do with the putrid O lines we have fielded over the many years of ineptitude. Just a thought..,

I would have thought Fitz would have gotten there but I think Fitz stopped at 5.

Actually jw is wrong.  Bledsoe had 6 straignt 200+ yard games in 2002.

Read it again.  Nothing he said was wrong.  He did not say Allen was the first to do it since JK.

Love it.  Remember  during the Tyrod days, we would stand in awe of anything over 180 yds... lol

In all fairness, Tyrod was on this list and had a 5 game streak - so there is THAT.

That time period includes Flutie.

His first set of tweets said no one had had a 6 game streak since Kelly.  He then clarified it.

Does anyone know if any other NFL team has gone this long with such a streak. I had no idea that 200 yards passing was actually a feat.

What a pathetic stat...shows just how sorry we have been at QB for so long...how many teams have streaks of 300 yard games for that long or longer during that timeframe?? How many teams have multiple 300 yard game streaks of 6+ games??

This actually surprises me, because I perceived Gailey's playcalling as wildly pass-centered and Fitzpatrick as having some streaks of good passing games.

But I checked and my perceptions is, well, Wrong

I was astounded. Fitz, Flutie & Drew were on my list. I'm also shocked that it went back to 92 with Kelly. I know that 300 yard passing days are like 400+ nowadays, but just wow

It might also have something to do with repeatedly hiring a HCs who believed in "running the ball and playing solid D."

My biggest takeaway from week 1 of this season is that finally, FINALLY, the Bills may have moved into the 21st century on offense.

Yup.  And emblematic of what the Bills' problems were all those years: lack of a good QB.
