I assumed he would go with “a peach” because at least that is fat free and natural sugar. But no. He’s likely letting himself go to the point that I’d be surprised if he’s still pulling those 4:30 am MMA workouts. I'm not sure if there is a stat for this, but I would suspect that the majority of injuries that happen in preseason games happen in the latter quarters. So do some of the penalties which makes sense. And in a preseason game, with 4th down and 4 to go at the 30 yard line, why aren’t you going for it instead of trotting out your experienced kicker to kick a field goal? Rams coach sat his entire starting lineup thru the entire preseason last year, and his team made it to the super bowl. Are u paying attention to the 21st century NFL, coach? Depends how you define new age. Pete Carroll and Dick Vermeil and Marv Levy added new ideas and approaches despite their age. Bills teams of the 90's did little in camp and turned out to be just fine. Its the guys that dont adapt that fail.
