Once McCoy took away the security system their gears started turning. I'm pretty sure McCoy settled out of court just to make it go away. At least his lawyer set a provision for it to be dismissed without an explanation...unlike the off duty cop incident. It sucks that celebs... especially athletes are basically forced into settling these civil suits to avoid the public spectacle of a trial or chancing being found guilty from the very loose burden set in civil cases. No. It's accurate. Just poorly written. Shady's ex girlfriend's friend dropped (no longer pursued) her lawsuit against McCoy/Porter. His ex girlfriend's lawsuit against them is still pending.
