Democrat Debates

Recommended Posts

Finally a Jerry Springer type debate we saw with the Republicans in '16 where they were comparing hand sizes and talking about how many illegals they could realistically kick out at once.  I was waiting for the field to clear and desperation to set in.  I thought they all were pretty strong.  Even Biden partied like it was 1899.  Bloomberg started out pretty tepidly but picked it up about a third through.  Bernie flipping the socialism question around on how socialist government policies help the very rich was smart and pry resonated with a lot of people feeling sorry for themselves at home watching on their 60 inch 4K smart tv's.  It's looking more and more like a brokered convention as nobody really separated themselves from the pack.

...uh oh Joe............

"Instead, Biden did nothing to help himself. He looked like a tourist in Las Vegas rather than someone who should own the stage. Biden did little if anything to reassure voters he’s the best one to take on Trump or stem his slide in the polls. And that’s more bad news for Biden in this race."

I think Bloomberg doesn’t really want to be there.

Looks like he’s regretting all the money he spent wasted.

Nevada Democratic debate was the greatest debate in human history

by John Podhoretz

Original Article

Forget Lincoln and Douglas. Forget Nixon and Kennedy. Hell, forget the Athenians and the Melians back during the Peloponnesian War. Last night’s Democratic primary slagfest in Nevada was the greatest debate in all of human history.

Oh, was it glorious — the sheer raging hostility spraying across the stage as every campaign besides the Bernie Sanders and Michael Bloomberg bids face the desperate possibility each might fade into the woodwork against the Bernie surge and the Bloomberg billions.

No, my friends, everybody was wearing steel-tipped boots and going right for the crotch. Those weren’t snowflakes. They were nunchucks.

That one missing word at last night's Democratic debate

by Monica Showalter

Original Article

The Democrat debate was an exercise in futility, a bunch of mice scurrying over scraps while Big Cat Trump waits at the mouse-house door. Tails entangled together, they also fought each other like a rat-king. When they weren't doing that, they nattered on about their usual stuff - health care, global warming, amnesty for foreign nationals who've broken U.S. immigration law, whether billionaires should be legal, a whole host of irrelevant, stupid stuff you don't hear people talking about in the grocery stores or on the barstools.

What they didn't bring up at all was the economy. Not one said a thing about it.

Buttigieg won the debates last night.

But if too many moderates stay in the race, Bernie will win the nomination and we are in for a crazy crazy election.

Buttigieg is the only one in the race that can beat Bernie now, IMO

Bloomberg could make it a real fight if he would accept some coaching.

What else would one expect when there's a devout communist on the stage?

I noticed that Bernie is the only one that supported the concept of the candidate with the most delegates entering the convention would be the nominee. Funny how the popular vote idea is only supported by the communist.

Delegates aren't a straight popular vote though. Closer to the EC.
