Thanks for sharing this picture @chandler#81.  For any Bills fan my age, this is the ultimate memory of Mike Stratton introducing himself to Keith Lincoln. RIP Keith - you were a great player for the AFL in the 60's

RIP

A great player in his time.

One more reminder that our time here is limited, so make the most of it. Had a very special birthday weekend getaway for my wife, with the son and his GF joining us. Make time for those special memories.

Coach Gillman said Stratton’s tackle was one of the best he had ever seen.  Gronkowski, take note.

Stratton has his head down. Depending on the point of contact (shoulder or crown of helmet) this would be flagged today.

Did he lead with the head, or turn it aside and lead with the shoulder?

Image result for keith lincoln Mike stratton

The price for one of these autographed pictures just went up significantly. I’d cherish one.

Drove his shoulder into Keiths next season.

Video shows it was a textbook tackle.  Drove his shoulder into Lincoln.

Nowadays they'd probably flag it for a hit on a defenseless player...
