Wonderfully true, but it's still different when there's a game plan and the intensity ratchets up for a real game. The fact that Foster went from being cut and signed to the practice squad, to the starting WR lineup by the end of last season, is to his credit. WideNine Posted July 27, 2019 Share Posted July 27, 2019 I know there is a lot of excitement around Cody Ford, but based on some of his highlight reel work I hope they never ask him to pull. Looked like a Star Wars AT-ST trying to run behind center and line up someone to block. Not his thing - has a great range and long arms pass blocking, and is a nasty bull when plowing straight forward in run blocking. The hype train really went off during the offseason but a couple of good players with much more experience were brought in. Having these vets along with WR coach Chad Hall (who is impressing me with his training style for being so young) number 1 job is to help Josh Allen become a better QB as quick as possible. His deep ability, coupled with Brown's, isn't something you want to keep off the field very long. They draw away safeties, opening up underneath stuff and down the seams. If a DB bites even slightly on PA, one of those 2 are ready to pounce. He was easily the most pleasant surprise on O last year and brings a skill that can't be taught. Use him.
