Yeah it was already a thing when we first signed him from the fish

I think it’s an arthritic condition, which does not bode well for an NFL player, or Cards fans.

Feel bad for the guy not being able to stay healthy, but he also made a good living.

I hope it just doesnt impact his quality of life after the game.

I am more surprised he is on a training camp roster. I didn’t realize he signed with Arizona.

I’d assume he’ll be released before Game 1.

He’s “back up” caliber at this point in his career.

I am guessing that Cardinals will release him at end of preseason so he is not guaranteed salary and sign him post week 1 when they need him.

I can't believe anybody signed Clay as everyone knows his history. He can't beat what his body is doing to him. None of us can. We knew it when we signed him and now it's the end of the line I would think.

I believe he is talking about Tyler Kroft. Our TE who broke his foot. I don't understand the point of this thread when we still have an injury prone tight end for a starter.

Did you hear they traded a QB to Miami?

Knox is injury prone? Who cares about Kroft, he was never destined to be anything with this team anyway. Knox is the future.

Depending on how things go, Kroft may not be the starter.

Go Bills!!!!

How 'bout that!

Any more AFC East related Cardinals' news?

Only got the Pats, Jets, and Bills to go.

Let's go wild and have 2 good tight ends.

True.  They gambled on Kroft and lost.  Thankfully they drafted 2 TE's, ostensibly because of Kroft's history.

Yup.  If it didn't cost so much to cut Kroft, I'd do it now.  It might turn out to be a blessing in disguise because Knox should start and hopefully becomes the TE we've been waiting for.

I can't see Kroft being ready by game 1, much less in game shape.  I'd put him on PUP as well.
