His body’s been beaten and broken beyond the average toll of an NFL player. In a nine-season run with the Patriots, he achieved all there is to accomplish for an NFL tight end. In addition to his three rings, he made five Pro Bowls and earned All-Pro honors four times. He made a boatload of money and claims he saved the entirety of the $54 million he made in salary, living off endorsement checks during his career. He’s arguably the best tight end to every play the game of football. achieved all there is to accomplish now if only someone else would think that way.
