Royale with Cheese Posted June 24, 2019 Share Posted June 24, 2019 Chris Simms and Mike Florio are having a segment on their show about what 2nd year player will make the biggest jump. Even though Simms has hyped up Allen, he chose Darnold to make the biggest jump. Florio picked Allen. He talked about the Beasley pick up as big acquisition. Said you have to defend every blade of grass on the field because he rocket it down the field for 80 yards and now he has someone that can get open over the middle....not to mention his athleticism. They both believe that Allen had a better season last year because he made bigger plays. That was one reason why Simms picked Darnold for biggest jump....Allen is coming off of a better year so for Darnold has higher to go to get to the same level.
