Good to see him get his due.  I really like fuller, but I think the crown is there for the taking without Fangio running that D anymore.  Dude should’ve stayed a DC.  He has his work cut out for him in Denver

I have White above Fuller. Think Fuller is a borderline top 10 guy. He had an excellent 2018 but that was the first year he played at a near elite level and he has been in the league 4 years. I find that the problem with a lot of these ranking type lists. People lurch violently from year to year because they make on the spot evaluations. You have to look body of work.

Agreed.  Those weren’t the names I expected to see but they had their best years last year.   Just didn’t think that would be enough to get them 1-2.  If I wasn’t a bills fan I would think that whites ascension to top 3 was premature.  Knowing what I know, he’s right where he deserves to be.

I still think it is a bit high. To me there is a clear top 4 of elite guys who have performed at a consistently elite level year after year and whose play has yet to show any drop off: Patrick Peterson, Darius Slay, Casey Hayward, Chris Harris.

I think White is in the next group with the two Jacksonville guys, Lattimore, Desmond Trufant and Gilmore.

Same, I’d also throw in Xavier Howard.

What concerns me re: when his contract is up is that McDermott and Beane come from a place that decided to let Josh Norman walk. Different players, but I think White is a guy for whom they should probably pony up.

I agree . I think White is just a better player than Norman was and allows so much flexibility in man coverage , Norman was known to be average in man but great in zone. White is great at both , will tackle and brings amazing energy to the team. He's a keeper

I think they have to pay White. He was the first pick of this regime, they passed on two young QBs who look pretty darn good so far to move back and take him, and he has already played like a borderline elite player. If in that context they are not gonna pay a guy then when would you ever pay a guy?

I dont see any scenario where they dont pay White.

Their CB stable is impressive.  Poyer and Hyde are a solid safety tandem and they could do a lot worse, but they can also do better.  Hopefully some of the younger guys start to make some noise there.

ed reed said we got an absolute steal and future star in joquan johnson(sp?). i also think vosean joseph and daryl johnson stick. i think they crushed this draft.

I think Johnson will be an instant special teams stud and serviceable backup. But he absolutely has a shot to be a starter down the line. Vosean Joseph will be a starter in 2020. Don't know anything about D. Johnson.

Somebody should tell Madden that he's rated 3rd best cuz on Ultimate Team his highest card was a 88 overall all the way til May while 10s of other corners had 95+ overalls...

His card was pretty much useless after the first couple of months Madden released.

It’s ultimate team. A money grab

they release dozens and dozens of legend cards and flashback cards hoping you’ll buy packs

some players only get 1-2 cards a year

look him up. (i don't know how to post links yet). he's another jerry hughes....nothing but a pass rush specialist/talent.  seems to have a lot of awards and going off the top of my memory ,  i think he led( possibly the nation) in sacks. it's just that he wasn't in a major program. heard him on onebillslive and he sounds like he's determined to muscle up(now at 255) and become a sack artist. shaq won't be here next year.

Tre will be one of the first test cases of Beane's stated "sign your own" philosophy.

Hmmm. McD already let the best corner in the league walk. Terrible decision. Could have signed long term or franchised. Say what you will but it is a black mark on his talent evaluation.  That said he drafted White and added Poyer and Hyde so deserves high marks for those moves.

Series of dumb moves by Whaley too. He gave more money than TT was worth and should have forced him to earn it. Gilmore should have been extended after his fourth year and they could have paid far less than the Patriots paid him.

A past life at this point, and ad poster said in a couple years if they are still here Beane will be tested on his draft well and keep mantra.
