According to a Grinnell College poll released today, “81% of Americans say it is not okay for political candidates in this country to ask for assistance from a foreign government to help them win an election. This number includes large portions of the president’s base of support in 2016 — Republicans (81%), evangelicals (85%), and rural dwellers (87%).” Only 7 percent say it is okay. Apparently we have only seen the portions of the transcript that Trump thought made him look good. It didn't. We will have to wait to read the transcript apparently. If abuses of power are not called out, what will prevent further abuses?
