I guess the house doesn't really believe 6.5 wins.

That's my question as well, It was -130 a few days ago. At what point does the line move to 7 wins?

One of the few i believe has actually placed a bet..I aint buying the dude who said $500..

I need help then Cents, i did not see it in the future menu

PTR, once a win line gets thrown out, they don't like to move them as just damn freaking easy to get middled to death.

So they move the juice ..if they are getting a ton of money on the over, they say you need to bet 150 to win 100..see Estro's post above.

Why any article you read on betting win totals says shopping lines is critical on these bets..some maybe -140, some -170...and thats a huge difference

I never play win totals, and 99% sure will not this year..but that is how it works

It’s not under futures it’s at the bottom of that same drop down, listed as team total wins.

It’s -150 right now for the over, the easiest way to fix that is click on the big horsie icon and check back on football in a few days.

this line will move. There's no way it stays at 6.5.  Hurry up and place a wager......

yea, i don't know if I would rather have the over 6.5  -170, or the over 7  + 120..need an extra true...maybe someone who bets win totals could help me out here a bit.

What your all saying is the pro bookies in Vegas don't know what their talking about.  There is no sure thing and they are in the business to make money.  I say that every time I loose and know better.  Sure sounds like a good bet.

What is the deal with sports gambling these days?

I understand states beyond NV and NJ can and are now passing laws to legalize it in casinos, but as far as I know, online is still not legal anywhere due to the same banking regs that killed online poker way back.  Is that right?  Is it changing anytime soon?

To me the offshore stuff is like going to a whorehouse without a condom.

I put 50 on the Bills over. The best gambling advice I ever was given was don't gamble an amount of money you aren't comfortable losing. But I do wonder why the over under is set so low for the Bills. This roster won 6 games last year and they weren't a few miracles either. They lost some close games and won some close ones. All in all it balanced out and they were a firm 6 win team due to the defense and Josh Allen's play towards the end of the season.

This team added a lot of talent via free agency and had a well received draft. I thought they would peg the over under between 7.5 and 8.5 which would be fair given how much of an unknown Allen is. But 6.5 just seems low. This team had really bad talent last year and still got carried to 6 wins by the defense which is intact and added the 9th overall pick and is mostly young or prime at most positions and doesn't lack depth.

Vegas isn't stupid I wonder what they are projecting for the Bills to place it at 6.5? I think that Vegas probably does a lot of their analysis via advanced analytics, those analytics don't favor our QB and they probably bet against them.

I put down $500 and I rarely bet on the NFL. With the supposed soft schedule I feel like this is an easy bet. Who else is putting down some bucks?

Betting on sports is not very smart.

For the most part...lol

I took the Bills straight up against the Vikings last year. Sure glad I did.  It was +950.

Go Bills!

Where did you place this bet? Im down for 9-10 wins. Last season I said 4-5. I see at very minimum 8 and at most. 11. It all hinges on JA taking the next step and staying healthy.

Sent a check to a friend in Vegas.

At -170, you're better off leaving it alone and hoping it goes to 7 + money. The difference would be that 7 wins would be a push and not a loss, but you'd more than double your money.

At -170, you gotta put up 170 to win 100. Just not a fan of that.

Wait, though there's certainly no guarantee that it'll go to 7. Even -150 just doesn't do it for me.

Meh. You gotta pay 45 bucks to cash out. Not a total scam, but pretty shady in that regard.
