Let’s not bring the over achievers into this.

Lol!

If you can't see the difference in literally every aspect of that team and other Bills teams off to hot starts , maybe rewatch .

It's not just the legit talent and depth , it's the coaching and F.O , which I consider both elite.

Maybe your being sarcastic lol but ya , it's borderline disrespectful to even mention those teams in the same breath as the 2019 Bills

Hey, I'd be betting on 10 wins right now ... but, let's not get overconfident. Just saying we've seen things fall apart before. Easy schedule, a certain degree of luck so far (thank you, Cairo Santos and others), etc., etc.

The best (for betting) is if your sitting on 6 wins come the last week of the season and the Bills are favored (ideally heavily favored).

Then you have the OPTION to hedge... can bet the same amount on the Jets getting points (let's say 7 points).

Try to "double-dip"... worst case break even.

Example:

  • Bet $1,000 on Bills Over 6.5 wins
  • Won 6 games going into final week vs Jets
  • Bills favored by 7 (at home) against the lowly Jets.
  • Bet $1,000 on Jets (+7)
  • Bills Win by more than 7 = PUSH on Season bets (Net $0)
  • Jets Win the game outright = PUSH on Season bets (Net $0)
  • Bills win by between 1 and 7 points = Win Both Ends ($2,000)

Would take the stress out of the last game with only upside possibility.

Somebody knows what they’re doin!

(Have done the same many times over the years!) ??

Bills are 9/1 to Win the Division today. Cheatriots EVEN $.

Bills Conference? 19/1

SB? 34/1

  • Thank you (+1) 1

I met a guy who is a bookie. We started talking football, then about Buffalo. He said one of his guys is a big Bills fan and had 13k to win 10k on the Bills over won total. This was back around week 2. I told him there's a pretty high chance, he's gonna have to dish that out. I have a little bit on it. I have it at 7 wins though. Still like it!

Do you know if the Bills fan put the 13k bet at just one sportsbook?

I had to go to many of them before reaching 7k. The first I went to was DraftKings near Metlife stadium. They had the best odds, that's why I went there. Told them I wanted to bet 10k. The boss declined it, said the max was $2,500. Technically, I could bet more, but he changed the odds so much it wasn't worth it. I had to drive to other bookies to add more at reasonable odds.

But why not be confident? I’m not saying we are going to win the super bowl confident but enjoy it and walk around being happy for once. I think I can speak for most in saying that there is confidence in this team for the first time in a long time. I know the wheels can fall off fast with injuries or playing poorly etc etc.

I bet $1,400 on various combos of Bills wins the week the season started before any games were played.  The photo of the tickets is too big (# of MB) to paste here.

My bets were:

> 6.5 wins (-200) $400 bet return $600

> 7.5 wins (+100) $400 bet return $800

> 8.5 wins (+200) $400 bet return $1,200

Make playoffs (+325)$200 bet return $850

If the Bills win 9 or more games & make the playoffs I win $2,050 on my $1,400 bet for a return of $3,450.  I break even at 8-8, win $1,200 on their 9th win & hit it all if they make the playoffs.

My tickets say 1/22/20 6:30 PM, so I guess I can't cash them until then, but I'll check with the casino before then to be sure.

At the casino in Schenectady they have kiosks where you can bet without a teller.  If I wanted to bet a large amount I'd bet it separately at the kiosk.  One thing they do is the teller is only authorized to cash less than $1,000 so I'd break the bets into smaller amounts.  I don't know if they have some system on the kiosks that would stop someone putting a big bet in at a few kiosks broken down into $500 increments.  I was able to put the $1,400 in bets at the kiosks, but if I wanted to do it at the window with a teller they wanted me to apply for a rewards card.

And make a windfall on the Steelers? They don’t care who wins and who loses! That’s all built into the system. The only way they don’t “win” is if people don’t wager.

It depends. Maybe most people bet the UNDER on the Steelers, who knows.

In other words, theoretically the bookies could lose money on each and every one of the 32 teams (I'm still talking about regular season wins). It depends if most of the money was wagered on the over or the under for each team (versus the actual outcome).

Yeah one sportsbook. He'll pretty much take any action.

That was the most fluky set of wins ever. Really fun to watch, but once teams stopped gifting us turnovers, it was over

I feel like we got one popped up in the air INT in every one of those games including the loss.  That'll happen but to catch all of them is absurd.  That and all the defensive TD's... which are also really hard to replicate.
