GreggTX
Terrible idea and Dawkins did not have a "regressive" season at all. He graded out right where he finished his solid rookie year. What he didn't do is take the next step and he has admitted as much. What's with people wanting trade decent 2nd and 3rd year players before they reach their ceiling anyways? Thank goodness Beane isn't doing that.
Green Lightning
Um, I say no. Dawkins is young, huge and athletic. If he kicks inside or stays at LT, he could be an anchor for us for many years.

4thandGoal
I had to sign in for this one because I want some of that crack you are smoking.. no way would I get rid of Dawkins to only move up 4 spots

They've done a great job plugging all their major holes. The last thing they would then want to do is open one up at a very important position which is highly involved in the protection of Josh Allen. With no obvious replacement. Boca BIlls
So let's get worse at O-Line...
T master
Given that the O line was the weakest link of the team last year i don't think it's a good move to trade one of the better players in that room they need to keep the good ones ...
Victory Formation
I'd rather draft Jonah Williams and plug him in on the left side at LG. It's Dion's job to lose IMO. If he struggles we give Jonah a look at LT and Dion goes inside to guard.
HuSeYiN_NYC
If Dawkins is worth moving back 4 spots in the top 10 for the team trading with the Bills, that means he'll be worth a 1st round pick period. Wouldn't make sense for the Bills to give up a player who can protect their young QB. Not saying he IS worth a 1st round pick but moving back 4 whole spots puts his value as a 1st rounder. Plus, what if he actually becomes a dominant player on the O-line. Imagine his worth then. Even then it wouldn't make sense to get rid of him. The Bills have let go of way too many players they've groomed into stars only to let other teams reap the benefits so, NO! blacklabel
Why trade a left tackle with two years experience for an inexperienced rookie? Doesn't make sense. They like Dawkins. They're gonna challenge him this summer based on his performance last season where he said he became a little too content but he'll be the Week One starter at left tackle. FeelingOnYouboty
This guarantees us one of Josh Allen or Quinnen Williams. Of course I'd do it. But why would Tampa do it?

They are trying to develop and retain talent at this point not firesale it. There’s zero guarantees you hit on pick 5, definitely zero guarantees you’re getting a tackle of Dawkins caliber past round 1 regardless of what some may think. He may not be elite after last season but Dawkins is quite good and hasn’t peaked yet why get rid of him while he’s on a rookie contract? ...good assessment........never been a fan of the "addition by subtraction" equation especially when the subtraction is a KNOWN quantity versus the addition being a virtual KNOWN in the pro ranks...remember the "Trade Tre Gang"??.......SMH........
