(As an aside, I don't know how the cable business works but I can't understand why cable companies can't survey their viewing territory for the main channels, bundle them in the basic package everyone gets, and then let all the other channels as add-ons if you want them. If nobody watches MTV in my territory, why must the company pay for it and then pass most of the cost on to the customers?)
